For example, I wanted to send a message to everyone connected to a workstation.

I needed the message to arrive at everyone’s workstation in a predictable order.

I could do this with various techniques such as using a Mailing List, queues, or JMS.

However, these techniques are heavy and impose restrictions on how and when the messages are sent.

I wanted the best of all worlds, so I set out to develop a solution that does not impose any restrictions on the sender, can be integrated with any other framework, and can be completely controlled by the recipient.

Stream-sync provides a high-performance, lightweight, highly-configurable, and modular framework for performing synchronization of network streams.

How it works

Stream-sync provides a wide range of synchronization options, such as:

You can create a stream-sync receiver by implementing the StreamSynchronizer interface and registering it with Stream-sync.

Stream-sync will poll your receiver periodically, starting at a random time and repeating this behavior until your receiver raises an exception or returns null.
